This has been a really busy summer so far and we are trying our hardest to blog most of our weddings. I know you are shocked that you are hearing from me so fast. Not in my nature, but I am trying to do better. Enough about me…on to why you are really here.
Amy and Pat were such a pleasure to work with. Throughout the time between when we booked their wedding and when their wedding came about we had gotten to know them, and their family so well. We had the pleasure of doing a bridal session for Amy a few months ago which was a lot of fun. Then Pat and his 2 brothers came in for a portrait session as a Mother’s Day present. (Such nice boys!) There is just something so wonderful about shooting a wedding where you genuinely like your clients and their families.
Not only are they wonderful people, but they throw one heck of a party. The venues were amazing and their friends and family really know how to enjoy themselves. Michael Nolte of Nolte’s Bridal did a wonderful job of overall coordination and Karyn Brook of Sidelines simply transformed the ballroom into something just beautiful for the reception.
The details:
Coordination: Nolte’s Bridal

Amy’s first glance at her bouquet.
I love this shot! The flower girl’s mother is reacting to her daughter and the ring bearer sharing a rather uncomfortably long hug!
Love these bold colors for the bridesmaids.
Getting ready.
Her something blue.
Dad sneaking a peak at the reception ballroom.
The adorable flowers girls and ring bearer awaiting their grand entrance.
Gearing up for her walk down the aisle.
Such a proud looking groom.
Heading out for some portraits.
This tells it like it is.
The ballroom was just transformed with some wonderful details.
The couples grand entrance.
Fun reactions to toasts.
First dance.
Foreshadowing perhaps?
Not your standard cake picture…but we just love their reaction.
Time to party.
A little photo booth action.
This sums it up best!
Amy and Pat — thank you so much for letting us be a part of your day. We loved having you in for your viewing and cannot wait for more to come with you and your family.
