Ali and Tim’s wedding in Kansas City was simply awesome. It seems a bit funny, as a wedding photographer, to say that there is a little something extra special about a 2nd wedding, but there is.
Often times there are kids involved, much like at Ali and Tim’s. Extra hearts to fill and extra hands to hold on to. Not only loving the person you’re standing next to, but loving the ones that come with.
Ali and Tim’s family-only wedding took place at Ali’s parents lake house on a beautiful, sunny weekend. It was the perfect setting for a laid back day packed full of meaning and emotion.
Exactly how a wedding should be.
Ali was walked down the aisle by her father and her 12 year old son, who had talked the couple into having a real wedding. I love knowing that their family will hold that memory with them forever.
During their ceremony, both Ali and Tim read vows to each others children. Not only making promises to each other, but to the people that meant the most to them.
The rest of the evening will filled with delicious catering by Room 39 and dancing. So much dancing that the blue on the bottom of Ali’s shoes wore off.
