Ashley + Philip | Wedding

Ashley and Philip are such a joy to be around.  Every time we get together we seem to find ourselves cracking jokes the entire time.  They are a perfect balance between professional and playful.  The reason for this became completely obvious to me on their wedding day when I got the chance to meet their family and friends.  It was a wonderful day full of laughter and love at the Grand Reserve.  It was a pleasure to witness.

I really like this shot.  I usually find myself drawn to the more obscure story telling images from a wedding day.  Ashley and her dad had to wait quite a while before leaving for the ceremony.  Needless to say she was getting a little impatient.

Love this.  Philip likes his clothes.  He is always impeccably dressed.  His dad is the same way and they both wore unique socks.  His dad chose pink strips and Philip black and white polka dots.

Ashley and Philip had a great idea to go to their old building near by where they used to live and shoot portraits on the rooftop garden.  It was a good call as we hit the light just right.

I knew I liked these two and their families when the room filled with laughter at our viewing party in the studio when this image popped up.  ” What a crappy photo”, said Philip’s dad!
