Rain is good luck on a wedding day…or so “they” say. If that is the case then Debra and Andrew have nothing to worry about for a long, long time!
This was my first wedding back after a long break. It was really great getting back into it with this couple. Although I have not had a lot of face to face time with Debra and Andrew since they live out of town, they were so easy to be with and blend into their day with. Any other couple would have let the rain get them down, or stress them out…but not these guys. They rolled with it really well and when we had to move our portraits indoors as well as the time between the wedding and reception they just made the best of it, along with their family and friends. Enjoy a few from their day.
Church: St. Johns United Methodist
Reception: Club 1000
Getting ready:
Love this look on Andrew’s face.
Play time is over and time for the reception. What — trolley not starting? Just rolled with it and hailed a cab!
Hope you all enjoyed these images. To Debra and Andrew we thought a little teaser might be fun. The rest of the images to come in a day or so. Thank you again for letting us be a part of your day.
Yeaaahh the Wirken wedding posts are back! Lovely, can’t wait to see more coming!
In almost all of your blog post the last photo is usually my favorite. The couples have just finished a long day of massive celebration and are finally alone. I love the focus on their hands sqeezed together–this is my favorite.
