Grand Hall in Kansas City Wedding
There are some weddings where you feel like it is impossible to keep with up everything. This was one of those. And the Grand Hall in Kansas City is the only place that was perfect enough to contain it all.
For starters Katye has to be the most expressive person I have ever photographed. Seriously.
On one hand it was awesome as there was no shortage of amazing moments or expressions. But on the other hand you had to be totally on your toes all day to capture her essence!
Then throw in the fact that this was another one of Sarah Quinlivan of Quintessential Events masterpiece weddings chock full of epic ideas and I was tested to my fullest abilities.
Just to give you an idea, this wedding had a gospel choir singing from a balcony during the couples recessional, a first dance atop a cloud of pink fog, portraits on the roof of the Grand Hall in Kansas City in the rain and fog, and more steps than I care to count.
It was intense and amazing at the same time. It was perfect for Katye and Dave, a couple that embodies such craziness. So you not only have amazing things happening wedding-wise, you also have the added layer of two amazing families coming together with a perfect mix of humor and emotion.
To sum it up my wedding hangover on Sunday was intense to say the least…but oh so worth it.
Katye and Dave thanks for being as amazing as your wedding was.
