Teaser Tuesday was designed to showcase a few of my favorite images from the previous weekend resulting usually in wedding images. This past weekend I did not have a wedding but was able to enjoy some quality time with the family. So for today’s Teaser Tuesday you all get a little glimpse into the life of the Wirken family last week.
First up Pam and I got to attend and watch both of our boys sing as part of Academie Lafayette’s Grand Spectacular. Our 6 year-old Zach’s class was particularly entertaining in their handmade Little Mermaid costumes. He was so excited to be the best lobster he could be. He was great even though we could not understand a word of what they were saying as it was all in French.
The other big activity was attending Alex’s Cub Scout Blue and Gold ceremony and camp out Saturday. It was a wonderful night to camp and enjoy time around the fire. It was also the end of an era of incredible ghost stories written and performed by our Scout leader. He is moving on as his son is now a Boy Scout thus ending a 5 year run of legendary stories.
It was a great week to be a parent seeing your kids excel at being great little human beings.
